Design and Creative Details
Based on candy prototypes, the designs recreate the pleated closure and three-dimensional form of the packaging. Each of the three designs has its own unique charm:
Left:
Red, yellow, and blue stripes intertwine, resembling a "hard candy wrapped in rainbow paper";
Middle:
A red dot is embedded in transparent glass, simulating the texture of a "filled candy";
Right:
Blue and white swirls with a gradient red edge resemble a "twisted gummy candy," with sweet elements perfectly capturing the festive atmosphere.
Handcrafted Texture
Blown Glass Shaping:
Craftsmen control the heat and airflow of the glass to ensure a uniform glass wall thickness (approximately 1.3mm), guaranteeing transparency while preventing it from being too thin and fragile;
Texturing Techniques:
Stripes, dots, and swirls all utilize a hot-melt color-blending technique, fusing the colors with the glass body at high temperatures, ensuring long-term colorfastness and paint retention; each piece's texture and color distribution are uniquely handcrafted, with no two designs being completely identical.
Visual and Practical Experience
Light and Shadow Effects:
Under the warm Christmas light, the striped version of the high-transmittance glass refracts colorful light spots, the red dots on the polka-dot version resemble vibrant "candy hearts," and the swirling pattern adds a sense of movement, making them eye-catching "sweet highlights" when hung on a tree.
Hanging Design:
The top ring is blown into place with the candy body, eliminating the risk of it falling off. The inner diameter of the ring is compatible with most decorative ropes/hooks. Weighing only 23g each, it won't bend the delicate branches of a Christmas tree, making decoration more worry-free.
